Dr. Kim Case
Kim's 34 year career in public education began at the classroom level where she gained practical experience in engaging students – particularly young adolescents – in learning, life, and leadership. Her desire to impact student outcomes has been the driving force on her career pathway, which includes educational coaching, school and district administration. To that end, she holds degrees and certifications from Appalachian State University, Gardner-Webb University and Florida State University.
Kim is a lifelong resident of Northwest North Carolina and after retiring from Caldwell County Schools in 2022, she began a second career pathway. She currently serves as the Northwest Regional Impact Manager for myFutureNC, a statewide non-profit organization focused on educational attainment.
